Why Give to the College of Computing and Information?

We sincerely appreciate the alumni and other donors who made gifts to CCI since its inception in 2005. Every class in the past 35 years was represented, from 1963 to 2007. The earliest represented was the class of '32! We cannot thank you enough or effectively demonstrate just how critically important your support is to the advancement of our programs.

Donations made to the College of Computing and Information (CCI) provide vital support to students and faculty in their scholarly endeavors, and enrich the educational and research initiatives for which UAlbany is so well known. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we were able to provide much needed scholarship support to deserving students and to give financial awards for faculty training and recruitment, workshops, lectures and other program enhancements.

There are so many ways for you to promote vital initiatives and needs within the College of Computing and Information. You may make a contribution or gift toward a particular CCI program, area of interest or endowment. Or you may elect to link your own name, or that of a loved one, with the college in perpetuity by establishing a named scholarship or fellowship endowment, a professorship, a prize or award fund, or another form of support. Click on the links below for examples of modest and worthwhile CCI giving suggestions.
