CCIWIT (College of Computing and Information Women in Technology) is dedicated to supporting, empowering, and building community among the faculty and women within CCI and encouraging girls and women to pursue undergraduate and graduate studies in the fields related to computer science, informatics, and information science.

Shadowing Program for Undergraduate Women

The College of Computing and Information's Women in Technology (CCIWIT) Program is proud to pilot our first cohort of women in a career shadowing program. Female undergraduates interested in the field of technology, regardless of major, are encouraged to apply.

Scholarships for Women in Computing and Information

 

  • CCI alumna Marybeth Salmon (center) retires from Director of Applications at the University at Albany and make a donation to CCIWIT to help support students attendance at the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing.  http://gracehopper.org/

  • Initiatives for Women President Carol Anne Germian, College of Computing and Information Women in Technology Director Jennifer Goodall, and College of Computing and Information Dean Peter Bloniarz celebrate the IFW award for CCIWIT to host the Technology Leaders of Today speaker series in 2010 - 2011.
