CAS Computing
CAS Computing provides first-line academic/research network and PC-based support to faculty and staff in the College of Arts and Sciences. In addition to desktop support, the group also provides LAN services for file and printer sharing, teaching classroom support, and limited research and special project support.
Information Technology Services (ITS) provides many of the services used by the entire University, for example PeopleSoft and email services. CAS Computing interfaces with ITS to help users with these services but also provides complete desktop support and file and print sharing that are exclusively for the College.
CAS Computing is located in Lecture Center Sub-Basement 32. All requests for support should be made by telephone at 442-2651, submitting a help request, or sending an email to cascomp@albany.edu. We are available Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
