The RNA Institute at the University at Albany, a powerful new alliance of New York Capital Region top genetic scientists and biomedical investigators, will spur cutting-edge research into RNA and its implications for innovative medicines, drug therapies, and curing disease.
 
UAlbany President George Philip was joined by SUNY Chancellor Nancy Zimpher, Congressman Paul Tonko, Institute scientists, industry representatives and many others for the official launch of the Institute on June 4.
