The College of Arts and Sciences hosted a reception for 32 new faculty members on Monday, September 10, 2012, in the Futterer Lounge of the Performing Arts Center. Dean Edelgard Wulfert delivered opening remarks to those assembled and discussed her own rewarding experience as a professor, then wished the new faculty members the same experience.
Each department chair then briefly introduced to the group the new faculty members in his or her department. After introductions, new and seasoned faculty mingled and exchanged ideas and best wishes for the year ahead.
