Philosophy Professor Receives Prestigious Fellowship
P.D. Magnus, in the Department of Philosophy at the University at Albany, was recently awarded a fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Magnus will serve as a Visiting Fellow for the fall at the Center for the Philosophy of Science, which is among the most prestigious of its kind. He plans on continuing his work in philosophy of science where he distinguishes between retail arguments and wholesale arguments.
Dr. Magnus recently was promoted to Associate Professor. He has his Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of California at San Diego.
