Getting Hired As a Millenial Queer
Capital District Gay and Lesbian Community Council is an organization devoted to serving the Capital District's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered (LGBT) community. Located in Albany, NY, the Council has been serving the Capital District for over thirty years. They provide numerous programs and activities including youth and peer support groups, cultural events, commUNITY (our publication), Capital Pride, The Rainbow Café, as well as workshops and seminars on issues of concern to the community such as health, personal finance and family/legal matters.
Parents, Families & Friends of Lesbians & Gays (PFLAG) is a national non-profit organization with over 200,000 members and supporters and over 500 affiliates in the United States.

Echelon Magazine - Echelon is an online and offline gay magazine that publishes articles on GLBT finance, economic development, workplace advocacy, corporate diversity, education, employment and explores the ever evolving GLBT marketplace. The website includes an employment board and their bimonthly digital magazine.
ProGayJobs- ProGayJobs has built a recruiting portal that provides diversity-focused employers with opportunities to post jobs and advertise to the GLBT workforce, and provides numerous resources to GLBT jobseekers to find jobs with companies that embrace diversity.

Discrimination and legal issues
Work place issues - This Human Rights Campaign site contains links to a variety of workplace resources for LGBTQQ workers. These include information about benefits provided by companies, how to advocate for LGBT employee rights, and discrimination and harassment information.
Out and Equal Workplace Advocates is a organization committed to ending employment discrimination for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender employees.
