Club Sports

University at Albany Student Association recognizes, sponsors, and funds a wide variety of student organizations, including Club Sports. The Office of Campus Recreation provides Club Sports with administrative assistance and facility management. To help coordinate and streamline operations, full-time professional staff provide UA Club Sports the benefit that very few student organizations have.

The Club Sports Program at University at Albany provides a variety of opportunities for UA students to socialize, learn, keep fit, and play. Club Sports are open to all students and span the competitive spectrum from informal occasional play to regimented practices with intercollegiate competition. There are currently over 30 club sport organizations that meet regularly for practices and competitions, conduct exhibitions, coordinate socials for members and engage in community service events.

Club membership is open to all students, faculty and staff of University at Albany. All participating individuals or groups are responsible for submitting the appropriate paperwork prior to engaging in athletic activity. University at Albany Club Sports are voluntary and participation is at a personal risk. If you are interested in joining a Club Sport or would like to learn more, please visit the organization's MyInvolvement page:
