Media Advisory: Community Leaders Roll Up Sleeves at UAlbany's Freshmen Move-In Day

ALBANY, N.Y. (August 23, 2007)

What:
Albany Mayor Gerald D. Jennings and Brian Straughter, vice president of Turf Hotels, will join Officer in Charge and Provost Susan Herbst to help greet and move-in UAlbany's more than 2,500 freshmen. Straughter, on behalf of Michael Hoffman, Turf Hotels president/owner, will also present Officer in Charge Herbst with a donation to the University.

State Quad, the dormitory complex located on the northeast side of the Academic Podium, east of Collins Circle, on the uptown campus at 1400 Washington Ave., Albany. Parking is available on Collins Circle.
