Moscow State University Delegation Visits UAlbany on 30th Anniversary of Partnership

A delegation from Moscow State University will visit the University at Albany to celebrate and solidify a 30-year partnership in student and faculty exchange, curriculum development, and joint education projects.Who:

The year 2007 marks the 30th anniversary of collaboration between the University at Albany and Moscow State University. Currently, the major programs supported by the two institutions lie in the areas of foreign languages, computational mathematics and cybernetics.Cooperation in higher education between Russia and the United States was strengthened by a May 31, 2006 Memorandum of Understanding signed by U.S. Education Secretary Margaret Spellings and Minister for Education and Science Andrei Fursenko of the Russian Federation.
