Reserve our Facilities

Many of the spaces in the Campus Center are available to reserve. Please see our user manual for spacing and pricing details.

On-Campus Departments and Organizations:

Internal users include recognized student organizations, University Departments, and University affiliated offices.

To make a reservation, please The Virtual EMS site and log in using your NetID and password (example NetID: AB123456).

In conjunction with the University’s commitment to environmental sustainability, please consult this guide to hosting a green event.

Student Organizations:

Please make sure you are registered through MyInvolvement and have selected up to two reservations coordinators. The Office of Student Involvement & Leadership will be able to assist with any registration questions.

Canceling Reservations

To cancel a reservation, please visit The Virtual EMS site and on the “Reservations” tab, select “View my Requests” and open the reservation you would like to cancel. You can then select “cancel booking.” If your request is already confirmed, you will need to contact Karla Jaime-Benitez at KJaime-Benitez@albany.edu to cancel. Please note that if you cancel the ballroom less than 5 business days in advance, you will be charged the room fee for the room.

Off-Campus Organizations:

External users includes any non-University at Albany related offices and organizations.

The first step in reserving space as an external user is getting a revocable permit through Stacy Stern at sstern@albany.edu.  Once the revocable permit is issued, you will receive a username and password to access virtual EMS.

Once you have received your permit, please visit The Virtual EMS site and login with your username and password.
