• The Feinberg Library's Special Collections at the State University of New York at Plattsburgh  contains general information on New York State with "particular emphasis on the Northern Counties of Clinton, Essex, Franklin, St. Lawrence, Hamilton, Herkimer, and Warren." The collection also includes an index of local newspapers.
