B.S. Business Administration
The B.S. in Business Administration is a 120 credit program that begins
as early as freshman year. To complete the degree, students fulfill a 60 credit core
of combined courses in liberal arts and general education. The
University at Albany has an excellent selection of foreign language and
cultural diversity classes that are highly recommended to all business
students due to the growth of many businesses into international
markets.
At the beginning of their junior year, students focus their studies on a functional area of business, including information technology management, marketing, financial analysis or a combination of two. Students can also choose to combine a study of management with any of
the three available major areas. With more than 100 fields of study to
choose from, business students are encouraged to pursue a minor to give
them as well rounded an education as possible. Together, this blend of
liberal education, career preparation and unlimited opportunity is what
makes the University at Albany's School of Business so competitive.
