Undergraduate Student Services
The Office of Student Services in the School of Business is dedicated to providing you with accessible, timely and accurate information to help you gain admission and succeed as you pursue an undergraduate Business Administration or Accounting degree. Upon entry to the School of Business, you will be assigned an advisor to act as a resource throughout your studies. We will assist you with all aspects of your undergraduate academic program at the University at Albany, including course planning, registration, transfer credit evaluation, retention issues, and policy questions.
We have two full-time professional advisors on hand, year-round, to support our current students, prospective students and new transfer students. We pride ourselves on:
- Student oriented service
- Advisor availability
- Accuracy of information
- Problem resolution
- Good communication
Through the Office of Student Services, you are made aware of the many resources available to you around campus. These include career services, study abroad programs, business clubs and organizations, events, tutoring services, and disabilities and counselling resources.
You are regularly sent information about all school activities through our School of Business listserv. You are automatically subscribers of that service you’re your admission to the school.
School of Business advisors are available to all students regardless of their major at the university. Potential students and their families are welcome to visit the school and to speak to an advisor.
