Do you need flexible scheduling to accommodate part-time MBA study into your work and family obligations? Then you’ll be pleased to discover the University at Albany School of Business Evening MBA program. We understand that trying to finish a graduate degree while working full-time is a daunting task. We offer flexible evening classes so that students with demanding professional careers can still learn the advanced business management and leadership skills they need to earn a respected masters degree in business administration.
Part-Time MBA Study on Your Schedule
The Evening MBA program offers high quality instruction by our dedicated departmental faculty and leading executives in the Capital Region. You set the pace at which you move through the comprehensive curriculum. You will work with our Director of Graduate Student Services to map out an individualized program plan of study. Some classes may even be waived based upon your prior coursework. Many students complete the degree in three years, but flexible scheduling allows you to accelerate that to two years or stretch it out for up to six years.
Classes begin at 5:45 pm, offer a break at 7:00 pm, and end at 8:35 pm. Students attend class one evening per week for each class that they take. Most find that two classes a semester is a reasonable workload to balance with work and family commitments. We also offer opportunities for students to network with each other and with our professional and alumni network, a critical benefit of the MBA experience.
Top-Ranked Education, Individual Attention
University at Albany’s School of Business offers outstanding educational value. We are one of only three universities in New York State, and one of only 260 globally, to hold dual AACSB accreditation in both management and accounting. We are consistently top-ranked for MBA programs by The Princeton Review. And our students and alumni tell us that earning a part-time MBA here propelled them to new career opportunities they had previously only dreamed of.
Key to your educational experience is the careful guidance you will receive from our faculty and staff. You will work directly with our program director, an academic advisor, and a career counselor to customize your program to your professional goals.
