SBDC Aids Business Affected By Champlain Bridge Demolition
The closing of the Lake Champlain Bridge has created a hardship for small business in the North Country. In response, the Albany regional Small Business Development Center under the University at Albany School of Business will open the Champlain Bridge Business Assistance Center, an emergency outreach office located in the Crown Point region, to educate and counsel business owners that have experienced a downturn from the closure of the bridge. The SBDC will also provide assistance to dislocated workers who can no longer afford to commute to jobs in Vermont and are interested in starting a business. Read more.
The UAlbany based SBDC was recently named among the top ten centers in the nation by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
