School of Business Partners with Local Schools to Sponsor First Regional Business Plan Competition on Renewable Energy and SustainabilityThe region’s first business plan competition with a focus on energy technology is a cooperative effort. Sponsoring the contest with the School of Business are the UAlbany College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering, Rensselaer and Union College. This spring, students are invited to submit business plans around a student-born innovation designed for a currently unmet need in the energy sector. The top teams will present to a panel of investors, scientists, and energy industry executives. Grand prize is $10,000. The event will be held at CNSE's facilities on April 28, 2010. The competition is one of several environment-themed events taking place at UAlbany during April. Read about them here. |
