The School of Business is named host of a new research laboratory to develop digital forensic tools for protecting information after data breaches. Computer forensic leader The ARC Group of N.Y. donates software and services valued at more than $500,000 to support the critical endeavor, led by UAlbany Associate Professor Sanjay Goel.

University at Albany Welcomes Class of 2018

UAlbany will begin its 2014-2015 academic year by welcoming an academically talented incoming freshman class of over 2,500 enrolled from an applicant pool of more than 21,768. The students will be joined by 58 new full-time faculty members this academic year, many hired through Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s NYSUNY 2020 initiative.
