Student Profile
Students entering the Weekend MBA Program come from a wide variety of
backgrounds encompassing all major for-profit employers in the Capital
Region, state and federal government agencies, small and entrepreneurial
organizations and all aspects of the not-for-profit arena.
Students come to advance their current careers, or start new ones. Students come for specific knowledge, come to better understand the integration of business functionalities and pursue a general MBA degree, or come to study in a international learning environment. But whatever their reasons, they all share some common characteristics: they are intelligent, highly motivated, committed to their program of study, and ready to make short term sacrifices in order to gain long term achievements.
Our students have at least 3 years of professional working experience, many have more. Our students have demonstrated career growth and potential. Students have been successful in their undergraduate academic studies and some have already successfully completed graduate degrees. They have demonstrated ability in reasoning and analytical capabilities, and have the ability to communicate their ideas clearly. The program embraces all types of diversity from background to work experience, ethnicity to undergraduate majors. Students do not need to have an academic or functional background in business to succeed in the program. If you are ready to work and ready to learn, then the Weekend MBA Program may be the right place for you to study!
