September 13, 2011 – Albany Business Leaders Emerging Informational Meeting

Albany Business Leaders Emerging (ABLE) will be holding an informational meeting on September 13 at 9 P.M. (CC Assembly Hall). The organization serves as place where students can express their leadership qualities, teamwork skills and professional abilities by being positive role models within the community and by learning different aspects of business to become more prepared for the business world. Direct admits will have an opportunity to meet with faculty, staff, and current students.

September 20, 2011 – Resume Critique by Guest Recruiters

Recruiters from Northwestern Mutual Financial, AYCO, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, and Wildwood Programs will join us at the University at Albany Career Services Office to critique student résumés on September 20 from 1:00-5:00 P.M. September 21, 2011 – Delta Sigma Pi Career Fair

The annual Delta Sigma Pi career fair will be held September 21, 2011, 10:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M, at the UAlbany SEFCU Arena (formerly the RACC). This is a wonderful networking opportunity that will allow you to meet representatives and recruiters from a variety of companies. September 27, 2011 – Career Panel with GE Alumni

The ITM Department is organizing a career panel with four GE alummi on September 27 from 12:00 pm to 1 pm.  The panel discussion will be in CC 375 and will be followed by lunch.

September 27, 2011 – Representative from AYCO to visit UAlbany School of Business

The AYCO Company employs over 50 interns, and hires all majors from the School of Business! If you are interested in learning more about the company and possible employment opportunities, please attend. All students are welcome! The event will be held on September 27 from 4:00-5:00 P.M. October 14, 2011 – Lead Recruiter from Ernst & Young to Visit School of Business

The School of Business will be hosting the lead recruiter from Ernst & Young, Stacey O’Brien.  She will be presenting to freshmen about careers in Accounting, Ernst & Young, and tips for success in college.

November 4, 2011 – Junior Achievement Bowl-a-Thon

Students, faculty, and staff in the School of Business are invited for a night of fun and bowling.  Each team that participates raises money for Junior Achievement.
