October 23rd – November 25th 2009 – Thanksgiving Food Drive
Albany Business Leaders Emerging (ABLE) are hosting a food drive this year in order to help stock the shelves of less fortunate homes for the holiday season. Donations can be made on all on-campus quads, and ABLE has a goal of 500 pounds to collect. Any donation of a non-perishable food is a huge help, and will make the holidays much better for someone else!

Finance Seminar : “Why do Entrepreneurs switch Venture Capitalists”
This will be an on campus seminar given by our faculty professor, Na Dai, inside Business Administration Building room 349. The presentation will last from 10:30 – 12:00 and give insightful tips based on Finance.
November 16th, 2009
Economics Seminar: “Macrofoundations for a (near) 2% Inflation Target)”
Guest speaker Christophe Faugere will be presenting an economic lecture on campus from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm. This seminar will be located in room 130, located inside the business building.

The Mills Law Firm is collaborating with a senior-level Integrated Marketing Communications class in the University at Albany’s School of Business. They will be sponsoring a food drive that will benefit The Regional Food Bank of Northeast New York. There will be live entertainment from DJ Rookie from JAMZ 96.3 as well as giveaways, raffle prizes, and refreshments will be served.
The food drive will take place on the podium of the UAlbany campus, near the small fountain outside the Campus Center.
The Mills Law Firm, LLP, a civil litigation firm located in Clifton Park, is aiming to become a more active part in the community and to increase awareness of their expertise in their various litigation fields.

This is for students who are interested in a career with computers but not in programming. Everyone is welcome to learn about all the other exciting careers and opportunities in the field of computers and information.
November 19th, 2009 – Instant Decision Night for MBA programs
The School of Business at the University at Albany will host an Instant Decision Night for its full-time, evening and weekend MBA, MS Accounting, MS Taxation and MS Tax Practice on Thursday, November 19th 2009 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Instant Decision Night provides the opportunity for prospective students to have their credentials reviewed on-the-spot by School Of Business staff.
