Professional responsibilities: Main areas of responsibility include setting the direction of the company, providing support to client service teams, acting as Chief Operational Officer and coordinating client relationship management.

Professional advancement: Shields began at Price WaterhouseCoopers where he earned his CPA. He then went to The Ayco Company, LP, where he was Vice President of Business Management, the group that spun out and ultimately became LeverPoint Management.

Community Involvement: LeverPoint organizes several community events including Habitat for Humanity, fundraising for Captain’s Organization, and events such as Bowling for Big Brothers/Sisters.
