Student Services
Corporate recruitment efforts will be enhanced.
- Increase the number of recruiters and companies interviewing our students.
- Provide a professional interface and support to recruiters and companies recruiting on campus.
- Provide professional support for student driven career planning and job search.
Career services activities will be augmented.
- Career and talent assessment.
- Resume writing.
- Interviewing skills, workshops and videotaped mock interviews.
- Panels on finding and securing internships.
Academics
On the undergraduate level, we will develop honors and highly selective programs in accounting and business administration featuring small class size, mentoring and/or internship possibilities, and consulting type projects for business.
Our MBA programs for working professionals will offer expanded elective tracks and increased networking opportunities. The fulltime MBA curriculum will be restructured to provide further emphasis on working in and managing teams, professionalism and communication skills.
The Organizational Studies doctoral program will be enhanced with more competitive stipends.
Faculty Support
We seek to increase the amount of funding for research, instructional innovation and professional development for all faculty. Additional funds will allow us to establish endowed professorships in each of the School’s academic departments.
