Full-Time MBA: Application Instructions
The requirements for applying to the program are provided below. Early submission of your application will enable you more time to plan and manage your enrollment. Every application will be considered by the University at Albany Graduate Admissions Office and the School of Business. An application to the Full-Time MBA Program requires the following:
- A completed University at Albany application. Please be sure to complete all sections of the application.
Click here for the application. - Application fee — $75 payable online with your application.
*Note: Pending admission, a non-refundable deposit of $250 is required (must be received within 10 days of notification of acceptance) to hold your position in the class. This deposit will be applied to the first semester tuition payment. - Transcripts from all educational institutions you have attended, including the accredited institution at which you received your undergraduate degree.
- A copy of your GMAT score. You must request official scores be sent to UAlbany either at the time you take the exam or afterward. The Office of Graduate Admissions will not accept photocopies and will not consider a file complete unless official scores are received from GMAC. A GMAT waiver is available for current UAlbany undergraduate students with a GPA of 3.75 or higher who are applying for Fall 2011 admission. Click here to fill out the waiver form.
- Three (3) completed recommendation forms, with letters attached, sent in signed, sealed envelopes. One letter of recommendation must be from a faculty member. Recommendations from current and/or previous employers and faculty at UAlbany or other universities are encouraged.
- A copy of your resume (curriculum vitae) that provides detailed information about your previous education (e.g., name of institution, program of study, degree or diploma or certificate received, dates of attendance) and work experience (e.g., employer, job title, responsibilities, dates of employment).
- Personal Statement outlining your goals and objectives for the Full-Time MBA program.
- International Students will also need to submit:
-TOEFL or IELTS score
-Financial Affidavit
