Make Your Mark
The new School of Business building is scheduled to open in the fall of 2013. At this precise moment in time, alumni have a once in a lifetime opportunity to participate in School of Business history.
One way to play a role in this epic occasion is by making a monetary donation to the school. Donations over $1,000 or more (less if you graduated in the past ten years, see chart below) will be commemorated with an inscription on the wall of the appealing, brightly lit pedestrian walkway running from School of Business building to the academic podium, serving as the main thoroughfare between Collins Circle and the rest of campus. View a video of the tunnel.
Business students, students from other majors, and visitors to campus will pass through the School of Business lobby, down a grand staircase into the pedestrian walkway, ensuring high visibility of the names inscribed on the wall. A separate tunnel has been constructed for maintenance activity to keep facilities management carts and materials out of sight.
To recognize the developing earning potential of our recent graduates, a lower minimum gift has been set for naming rights on the wall.

Those who support the school at these levels also become Graduates of the Last Decade, known as GOLD. GOLD donors become members of the 1844 Society, the University at Albany’s leadership giving society for donors who give $1,000 or more.
Many alumni, faculty and staff have already contributed. To have your name or your company’s name listed on the tunnel wall or honor a person who made a difference in your life please contact Bill Roller at (518)442-4909 or firstname.lastname@example.org. But do it now - the deadline is February 15, 2013.
