We are delighted to announce The Campaign for UAlbany’s School of Business – a $9.75 million campaign that will enhance our longstanding reputation as the best public research university-based business school in New York State. The centerpiece of the campaign is the new $54 million School of Business building, a hub of learning, innovation, and entrepreneurship for the Capital Region and the state. Once completed, the 96,000-square-foot structure will promote commercialization and entrepreneurship activity for business students and professionals.
UAlbany’s School of Business is highly regarded for its academic quality, its accomplished and accessible faculty, and its innovative and customized programs of study, as well as for its internship opportunities and the excellent advisement and placement of graduates within influential organizations. The School continues to make extraordinary strides: to date, we have raised $6.15 million (63%) towards our goal to fund three priority areas:
To provide increased scholarship aid to attract superior students;
To build endowments for research support that sustains outstanding and diverse faculty, as well as allow students to work side by side with faculty in various research projects;
To enhance the academic environment to allow students and faculty to advance the discovery, communication, and application of knowledge for all areas of business within a complex global economy.
When the new School of Business building opens, the entry tunnel will honor the many donors who contributed to make it a reality.
