Scanning Electron Microscopy
The
Imaging Facility contains a Zeiss 940 Digital Scanning Electron Microscope.
This turbomolecular pumped scanning microscope can operate at accelerating
potentials from 1 to 30 kV. It is equipped with a rotating goniometer stage,
a video recorder an a multi-format film camera.
For information about the capabilities and use of this instrument, contact Dr. Jeff Travis at the Department of Biological Sciences.
