A wide variety of brochures and informational booklets are available on the Zeiss web site. First select Support from the second (light blue) column, and then on the Support page, the lefthand links for "Free Downloads", "LSM PDF Downloads" and "Helpful Hints" are especially useful. Zeiss provides FREE software to allow any PC to view and manipulate images gathered with the LSM/AIM software. Although not all functions are provided, many useful ones are. Version 3 of the LSM Image Browser can be downloaded from the Zeiss site. Click on the "Download" link near the bottom of the second (light blue) column of the Support page. You want the LSM Image Browser.

A good link into web pages relevant to confocal microscopy is the Molecular Expressions: Optical Microscopy Primer. Entering "confocal microscopy" in Google will lead to a plethora of sites.
