- Bio 110/111Z General Bio I and II = 8 credits
- Bio 212Y Genetics = 4 credits
- General Chem Lecture/Lab I and II = 8 credits

- Biology Major Electives = 16 credits
- A total of 12 credits must be at the 300 level or above in the major and
- Must include TWO (2) LAB courses
- Excluding 399/499
- Bio 399/499 may contribute a total of 4 credits of non-laboratory major electives
