Receive Email from the Department

The Biology Department and its faculty send email to a student's albany.edu address. It is the student's responsibility to monitor this address and verify that all mail is appropriately forwarded, if necessary.

In general, all emails to or from the Department should go through the albany.edu account. University Policy states that a student is responsible for monitoring mail sent to their albany.edu address, but the use of this address is also for practical reasons: albany.edu addresses are more consistent and reliable than outside services.
