Admission to Program

Applicants must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited University or College and are required to submit a University at Albany standard application, 3 letters of recommendation, undergraduate transcripts, and scores from the Graduate Record Exam General Test.

Prerequisites: Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology. Students lacking one or more prerequisite will be required to take the undergraduate course after admission.

Applications are submitted through the Graduate Admissions Office and are reviewed when completed. Since a limited number of slots are available, the later the application the less likely it is to receive full consideration. No applications for the Fall semester are considered after August 1.
