Undergraduate Rachel O’Donnell attends NCAR Undergraduate Leadership Workshop in Boulder, Colorado

June 8, 2015 – Atmospheric Sciences undergraduate, Rachel O’Donnell was nominated and selected to attend the NCAR Undergraduate Leadership Workshop. The workshop consists of a five-day immersion experience at the National Center for Research (NCAR) in Boulder, Colorado. Students are given an opportunity to explore careers in the atmospheric sciences and develop their leadership potential.

The nomination process is very competitive. Faculty recommendation letter, transcript, student essay and application are all reviewed by the selection committee. Only 20 students are chosen from the impressive list of nominees.

Students are selected from around the nation to connect with peers, and experience immersion in the scientific community.
