DAES Team in GNSS4SWEC Summer School

Hannah Huelsing and June Wang

Hannah Huelsing and June Wang from DAES attended “First Summer School for Advanced Global Navigation Satellite Systems tropospheric products for monitoring severe weather events and climate (GNSS4SWEC)” at Golden Sands, Bulgaria on 8-11 September 2014. June as a speaker gave two lectures on “IPCC AR5” and “Climate Data analysis and Trends”, and Hannah as a student gave a poster presentation on “2013 Flood Analysis Using GPS Water Vapor”. Both lectures and presentations were well received, and we had great interactions and discussions with other participants. Hannah and June are only US representatives among 36 students and 12 speakers from 17 countries. June also attended the GNSS4SWEC working group meeting following the summer school and gave a presentation on “Ground Based GNSS Measurements for Climate Monitoring: Achievements and Challenges”.
