Introduction

Dr. Li Zhang currently serves as the project manager for U.S.-Taiwan Partnership for International Research and Education (PIRE) at ASRC, University at Albany. Before she was transferred to UAlbany, she worked at the State University of New York System Administration as an Associate for Academic Programs and Planning. Dr. Li Zhang received her PhD in international higher education from the department of Education Policy and Leadership (formerly named Educational Administration and Policy Studies (EAPS)) at the University at Albany in 2016. She received a Master’s degree in International Educational Development from Boston University in 2012. Since 2013, Dr. Zhang has been working in the field of international higher education, helping Chinese higher education institutions build partnerships with colleges and universities in the United States. She has helped a dozen Chinese institutions build different types of partnerships with SUNY at different levels. She is also working pro bono as Chinese Group Leader at the Cross-border Education Research Team at UAlbany. In addition, Dr. Zhang once worked as the Vice President of JDX, a private company that facilitated the enrollment of Chinese students at private schools in the United States.
