Research Interests

My primary interest and dissertation topic is the impact of United States poverty on child growth and development. I am interested in the impact of toxicants on child development and in the elderly. I am working on the impact of lead on infant development and the impact of PCB exposure on Parkinsonianism. I study advanced statistics including Bayesian statistics and Maximum Likelihood Estimation. I have worked on the impact of the genetic influence of race on birthweight.
