The alphabetical order of items here places breathy vowels before their plain counterparts. Digraphs like
are alphabetized as if composed of two letters, following the ordinary rules of English alphabetical order. So words beginning with th come after words beginning with ta but before words beginning with ti. The apostrophe in the vowel digraphs is alphabetized before all the other letters.
