The Belize Postclassic Project is a long-term regional program of research under the direction of Dr. Marilyn Masson, SUNY-Albany, New York and Dr. Debra Walker, Florida International University, Florida.

The program is dedicated to understanding processes of social transformation of Maya populations living in northern Belize during and after the "collapse" of Classic period Maya city state civilizations, from A.D. 900 until the 16th century era of colonial Spain.
