The Alumni Association offers five scholarships for UAlbany students and alumni. Interested individuals may apply online for 2010-2011 scholarships beginning January 1, 2010. Email Melissa Samuels or call her at (518) 442-3083 if you have any questions.
Agnes E. Futterer Memorial Fellowship - $1,000
- Candidate must hold a bachelor's degree from the University at Albany and have been in residence at the University for a minimum of two years as an undergraduate.
- May be used for graduate study in theatre or theatre-related fields at the University or any other accredited institution or recognized theatre program.
- Applications must be received by March 1.
Albert N. Husted Fellowship - $1,000
- Candidate must hold a bachelor's degree from the University at Albany and have been in residence at the University for a minimum of two years.
- May be used for full-time study at the University or any other accredited university.
- Priority will be given to the candidate with a demonstrated aptitude and interest in teaching.
Applications must be received by March 1.
Adna W. Risley Memorial Scholarship - $500
- Candidate must hold a bachelor's degree from the University at Albany.
- Candidate must be pursuing a graduate degree in history at he University at Albany.
- Priority will be given to the candidate with demonstrated dedication and commitment to civic engagement.
- Applications must be received by March 1.
Class of 1972 Alumni Scholarship - $750.00
- Candidate must be a University at Albany senior planning to enter full-time graduate study at the University.
- Priority will be based on both merit and need.
- Applications must be received by March 1.
Bertha Brimmer Legacy Scholarship - $1,500
- Candidate must be a current freshman, an incoming legacy freshman or new legacy transfer student. A legacy is a child or grandchild of a graduate of UAlbany.
- Financial need will be considered.
- Applications must be received by March 1.
