University at Albany - State University of New York
A professor looks on

University at Albany faculty attracted $391.7 million in research funding in 2007-2008, an all-time high and a reflection of the breadth and global impact of UAlbany research and scholarship.

Networking

The UAlbany alumni network is more than 140,000 strong. Tap into this powerful resource and connect with fellow alumni who can help you through the various stages of your career or who simply share a common interest.

There are two primary ways the Alumni Association supports alumni networking:

Alumni Groups/Events
Become a regional volunteer, connect with alumni who share a common interest through a constituent group or participate in class activities. We encourage you to check out what's available and get involved. If you have an idea for a group or an event that doesn't currently exist, give us a call. We'd love to hear your ideas!

Online Networks
Of course, you don't have to be in the same area to get in touch these days. Bigger, faster, stronger technology has changed the way we communicate, and the way we define community. Find fellow alumni through your exclusive UAlbany online community, the UAlbany alumni Facebook page, or our LinkedIn group. Take advantage of the UAlbany network and get connected.

Student Connections
The Alumni Association is committed to creating connections between students and alumni. The Association offers a variety of ongoing programs as well as special events throughout the year that give students an opportunity to interact with alumni and benefit from their real-world experience.
