Gertrude Valentine attended the State
College for Teachers' Model School from kindergarten through high
school, then earned a BA from Vassar College. She returned to State
College, in order to take the course in Methods of Teaching, in preparation
for a teaching career, and graduated in 1913. During World War I,
she went to work with the YMCA in England and France, and was killed
in France. |
