Raymond F. Robinson was originally in the class in 1954. He left the Albany, however, and received a commission in the to US Air Force in August 1953. He returned to Albany and earned BA in American History in 1858, and an MA in American History in 1961. When he retired from the Air Force in 1981, he had served in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars, accrued over 5000 hours of flying time and achieved the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
