Dorothy MacLean Raymond, class of 1939, was an ensign in the Coast Guard SPARS from May 16, 1944 to July 25, 1947. She was stationed in San Diego and then at the end of the war on Ellis Island. On Ellis Island, she arranged transportation for soldiers returning to the US from Europe.
