Mary Clickman Moore graduated from the New York State College for
Teachers in 1936. She enlisted in the Women's Army Corps in 1943
and was assigned to the Military Interlligence Service.
There, she performed top secret work as a research analyst for
the War Department. She entered sevice as a private and had been
promoted to Master Sergeant by the end of the war. For her work,
she received a commendation from Brigadier General P. E. Peabody
on October 1, 1945.
