Tom Lanagon served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. In 1969
and 1970, he was assigned to the Naval Riverine Forces in Vietnam,
and in 1971 he was assigned to the Naval Amphibious Forces in Little
creek, Virginia. He received a BS in Math from the University at
Albany in 1977, and an MS in industrial engineering and operations
research from Virginia Tech in 1984. From 1977 to 1988, he performed
engineering and operations analysis for the Army. From 1988 to 1997
he served as Chief of the Supply Analysis Group, DORO. From 1998
to 2000 he was Strategic Integrations Officer at DLA and he is currently
the Chief of Logistics Business Process Re-engineering Group, DORRA.
