Peter Hart, class of 1939, entered the US Army in April 1943 and served until January 1946. He was an adjutant with a communications squadron, responsible for personnel records, correspondence, classifications and assignments, awards and decorations, and mail service. He received a Good Conduct medal, an Asian-Pacific Ribbon (2 stars), an American Theater Ribbon, a World War II Victory Ribbon, and a Presidential Unit Citation.
