Morris "Moe" Hamlin was originally in the class of 1955, but was drafted out of school to serve in the Army. He returned to college after serving and married Mary Jane Fisher, class of 1956. By chance, he entered the Army at the same time as Lloyd Loop, who he had know at Albany. The two went through basic training together and remained together throughout their time in the Army. In this photograph, taken at Fort Benning, Georgia in November 1854, Hamlin is on the left and Loop is on the right.
