What Is
a UAlbany Legacy?
A UAlbany legacy is a student or alumnus/a who has a
parent or grandparent who is a UAlbany alumnus/a.
About
the Program
As a UAlbany legacy, you
are part of a special tradition here at UAlbany - one
of more than 800 families with two or more generations
of UAlbany students. The legacy program recognizes families for their continued
generational support, provides networking opportunities, and helps legacies stay connected through
special programs and events. Highlights include a special welcome gift for freshmen, a legacy scholarship, an exclusive presidents' reception at Homecoming and VIP seating at commencement.
Are You a UAlbany Legacy?
If you are a UAlbany legacy, please email Melissa
Samuels at the Alumni Association or call her at
(518) 442-3083 to ensure that your family is included
in this important program.
