Reaching Higher, Achieving More Luncheon
Campus Center Ballroom
Reaching Higher, Achieving More is an alumni campaign designed to showcase the remarkable career paths of the University at Albany graduates. They are entrepreneurs, educators, lawyers, corporate leaders, entertainers, doctors, social workers, authors, policymakers and more, and their impact is truly global. This year will showcase Ken Johnson ’78.  This alum along with the other alumni inducted into this campaign are points of pride for the entire UAlbany community. Registration required. Free lunch.

After School Special: The 2011 Alumni Show
Alumni Exhibition Opening Reception and Wine Tasting

University Art Museum
Based on a long-standing track record of UAlbany’s success among its graduates in the visual arts field, the exhibition will highlight the individual accomplishments of working alumni artists. Curated by Ken Johnson ’78, freelance critic for the New York Times, stop by the University Art Museum to take in the many works by talented UAlbany alumni, meet the artists and connect with alumni while enjoying a sample of New York wines and cheeses. This exhibition is supported by a generous grant from the University at Albany Alumni Association. Half–Century Club Breakfast and Class of 1961 Induction
Hall of Fame Room ~ SEFCU Arena
Shuttle service will be available. Pick-up will be at the Dutch Quad parking lot across from the Alumni House. Join fellow alumni and celebrate with your class as you are inducted into the Half-Century Club. Registration required. Free. (Limit 1 guest)

9:30–11:00 a.m.
Aqua Ducks Tour
Pick-up will be in the Dutch Quad
Lot across from the Alumni House
Join other alumni, students, parents
and guests for an exciting time aboard the amphibious Aqua Ducks. Tour downtown Albany, see the historic sites and then view the city skyline as the “Duck” splashes into the Hudson River. Registration required.

Please join your sorority, Beta Zeta, Chi Sigma Theta, Gamma Kappa Phi and Kappa Delta for coffee. Registration required. Free.

Farmer’s Market – Go Green Initiative
Tailgate tent on back lawn of Science Library
Visit the farmer’s market and sample products from several local farms around the Capital Region. Fresh baked goods, vegetables, fruits, cider, cider doughnuts and homemade jams are among the items offered.

Nanotech Complex Tour
Pick-up will be at the bus stop by the Science Library
Learn about the latest developments in nanotechnology as you tour the Albany Nanotech complex at the University at Albany’s College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering. Bus transportation will be available. Bus departs at 10:10 a.m. The tour will begin in the NanoFab North Rotunda, Building 253. Registration required. Free.

Free parking in the Dutch Quad lot; $5.00 in the SEFCU lot. Registration required. Reserved tables for the Class of 1961.

Show your true colors! Wear your purple and gold proudly and cheer on the UAlbany Great Danes as they score a touchdown against the opponents. Registration required. Cost: $12 reserved seating, $10 general admission seating, $3 kids 2-12.

UAlbany Uptown & Downtown Campuses Bus Tour
Pick-up will be at the bus stop by the Science Library
See some of your old haunts and reminisce with alumni during this tour of the various buildings onboth campuses. GeoffreyWilliams, University archivist will host the tour. Bus departs at 1:00 p.m. Registration required. Free.
