Our network of alumni is an invaluable resource for the school, for the students and for the aging services community.
Join a committee - There are opportunities to help us review feedback and help make changes to the project on the Curriculum and Field Committee, to recruit and interview candidates (or Recruitment Committee), and to help us fundraise (the Alumni-Endowed Scholarship Committee). Complete our Alumni Update to volunteer.
Join our fundraising efforts - Even if you don't feel you can commit to participating on the committee, perhaps there is a skill or talent that you can share with us to help us to maintain the project.
Volunteer as a guest speaker - Contact project staff if you have a topic you would like to share with students in class or at an IAP Brown Bag Lunch.
Become a field instructor - Becoming a field instructor can be a great way to give back to the school and the profession. Social workers with under two years of experience can supervise BSW students and those with over two years post-MSW experience can supervise MSW and IAP students. Fill out the Agency Field Survey of Learning Opportunities.
Keep us updated by contributing to our IAP Alumni Newsletter - Published via email every April and October, it's great to hear about what everyone is doing both personally and professionally.
