| Understanding Private Higher Education: Global Roles and Patterns |

|
An award from the Ford Foundation is enabling Distinguished Professor Daniel Levy, graduate students, and colleagues from around the world to extend their research on the rapid growth of private higher education internationally. Under the auspices of the broader Program for Research on Private Higher Education (PROPHE), this award furthers efforts to provide training and opportunities for junior scholars and improve the knowledge base for policymakers and citizens concerned about the quality, availability, and accessibility of higher education worldwide. At the same time, the project throws light on the nature of private and public sectors in general.
