Student-to-Student Chinese Language Lab |

|
The Student-to-Student Chinese Language Lab is a three-year project to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of an innovative Mandarin Chinese resource for K-12 schools. It involves working with schools in both the U.S. and China to develop text, images, digital video, and complementary instructional materials to facilitate student collaboration in support of language learning. It offers the unique motivational factor of learning from one’s peers who speak the target language as a first language, and in most schools in the U.S. learning Mandarin Chinese presents a particular challenge. The Student-to-Student Language Lab seeks to address that challenge with high quality instructional materials made easily accessible through internet-based technologies.
